Title: Cosplay Bowling
Post by: Ri-chan on July 07, 2009, 09:17:40 pm: Okay so me and my friend Kiba went bowling the other day and I made an epic failure-ish move (Got a gutter ball that bounced out and knocked down seven pins. Very Naruto of me) So after that, I thought, "HEY Bowling would be a fun cosplay outing!" So I talked to Kiba and Sakura and decided, I'm gonna set up a gathering.

The date I was thinking: August 8

The bowling alley I was looking at is Sunset Lanes in Beaverton.

What do you all think?

UPDATE: So at Sunset Lanes charges:

Monday-Friday: $2.49 per game, before 6:00 p.m.
Saturday-Sunday: $2.49 per game, before 8:00 p.m.
Every evening: $4.75 per game, after 6:00 p.m.
Shoe size 4 & Under: $2.25
Shoe size 5 & up: $3.25.

And for groups it's $50 for 2 hours with a max of 12 people.

So me and Sakura were talking and we think that we'll go for open bowling and if no lanes are open we can drive people to the other alley or just go to a movie or wander the mall there. Lots of options.

Edit: Like Sam said, the 8th would probably good in August. Or later too would probably work. I dunno, just a personal note. xD

And I just might be too dead to go...

What is a problem for me is simply getting out there. Not a big one though, since it does feel like a closer location than the north clackamas meet. And yes Shinra picnic is that Sunday.

Yeah sorry about the lack of Ri-chan online time. I has no internet at my house til Monday. So I can't get the check on the lanes for a few more days. I'm planning it for the 8th. The time will be posted soon.

The price is 2.49 per game. I'm not sure about shoe price yet but I'll tell you that when I get the time and can check the lanes.

What time do you plan to come, and leave? I'd like to know how much money I should try to get for games, and food, and stuff.

So, I'm pretty official for this. I have some money, and a ride... If Bakura comes wearing a ton of eyeliner, I'm sorry. He's still trying to figure out what make-up works for him. Bakura frightens people. Lots of eyeliner frightens people. It seems to make sense to him.

Well I was talking to Akesukeru about a meet up for Yugioh cosplay. Why not have a fun little Yugioh bowl in the next week or so?
