well mine is kinda? lol i'm making it into an actual pokemon costume, meaning i'm taking off the hair and instead making a hood for the costume, and ima be carrying around the life-sized plushy around saying it's my baby, created by me and gold XDDD (joke) so yea.

And I suggest sewing elastic in it. Would help better. But if that doesn't work, or if aren't able to, then probably those suspender things...You could easily make it look like part of the cosplay too.

And yeah that color would be really hard to find. Maybe on the internet but it would take a lot of searching. And the color might not even be exact. I just recommend either double sided tape or garters. Two easy fixes with little work. And they can look quite nice.

I remember last year, I had a basic Umbreon Costume consisting of black sweat pants and a black shirt. I sewed on a tail and the yellow rings. It was very basic and easy to make, but I felt comfortable and confident in it.
I want this idea to be fairly easy to make, but a bit more detailed then that.
Keeping in mind I would be making this myself, or rather with help. While I dont have sewing experience, I have to start somewhere right?

you could make it out of clay, or paper mache, but if I were to do clay I would get the air dry stuff, so you don't have to cook it in A kelm
I am making my helm out of air dry clay, and I could do that but I need to tape my breast's and I don't know how to do thatBinding I was told is a breathtaking science. Try a sports bra or one piece bathing suit rather than tape. That's what my GF does for her Kurama cosplay.
I'm doing marowak. For the skull I took a baseball hat and glued some wire on it to make the basic shape. Then I put paper mache on to get a base. Once that was done I got light wight Spackle/plaster to give it more shape and to smooth it out. After that was dry I covered it with resin to give it strength. It is hard enough I could probably skull bash someone XD I am probably going to do one more layer of resin before I paint it.Yeah that is the one I am doing. I am thinking about getting better pants for it though. I'll just check good will for that :P

Have you looked into boot/shoe cover tutorials? Or armor tutorials? I would just find a pair of shoes and start building off them with foam or plush. It could get warm if you want plush, so I would suggest a durable foam in case you walk alot in the costume.
As for the hat, again I would find a headband and just start building off it or look into some helm tutorials. At the moment, I can't find the ones I saved somewhere though I'll keep looking. :3

Get a normal tank and just cut it. That's what I had to do with my Envy cosplay. And I'm wearing that for Zorua as well.

Also, even though you can't take pics at Pioneer Square, I would suggest meeting there at least, b/c not everyone will be able to find that park, especially if they don't know the area or have a map. You could all meet at the square or even at the S. park block and then move from there as a group. Makes it easier, I think.
