Who's planning to do Tsubasa RC for Kcon'11? How about xxxHolic? We want to know so we can hang out and have an awesome photoshoot! This last year was pretty fun for just kind of BSing the whole thing... If anyone wants to join us, do it! We can use all the CLAMP characters we can get at this point.

My girlfriend and I were the White and Black mokona from the cosplay contest and cosplay chess this year. We're working on fixing them up and bringing them back to con next year.

We're talking about coming down and making Gakuen outfits for the massive mokonas.
Although I'm debating doing a Yuko too since mellon wants to do a Watanuki v. Yuko for cosplay chess.
I just want to make clothes for mokona. It's kind of like dressing a massive plushie.

I'm good turning huge piles of fabric into something. The fabric for the mokona's stretched from my front door to my back door. 8 yards!!! Each!!!

If I do the artwork for the uniform patches, my mom's sewing machine can embroider them for us! (And I think I finally found a wig I like for Wata!) Too bad I already have pants that are the right colour for this...I want everything to match though...pants are a pain to make...or so I hear...also, Jeni and I are going to wear these costumes for the CLAMP panel...and hopefully do a little Horitsuba inspired skit-intro! The Mokonas should be in it too!
EDIT: @Kori - thinking about it now, I think I got on an elevator at least 3 times with your guys over the weekend...just one of those weird things!

Oh! I had a dream I went...somewhere random in town...and all you guys were there. Harle was in the Piffle Sakura outfit. Jacob_Blackfeather was in Horitsuba Sakura outfit. Emiri was running as Fai, hanging out with other mommy Fai. Then I was Syaoran of course. I believe Angel was dressed as Kamui. And then we hunted down a Kurogane and adventures ensued. I can't really remember the details but it was fun. I was pretty excited though when I realized who everyone was because everyone just looked like the characters.

Lawlz. So I bought a Fai wig that turned out a tad too dark. So I got another one that's lighter. Now Emily and I run around as Fai and Yui now and then. We won't at the con but still XD Is fun.

SO UM. Cosplay plans are being rethought, and a friend and I may be doing Lolita Mokonas (I'd be white, she'd be black). We're not 100% sure we'll have money to do it this year, but we both really want to do it, so funds-permitting we will. It's kind of my second-priority cosplay, after Sailor Uranus.

Now that the photoshoots are starting to get up and running, when and where do we want to plan ours? I was thinking Day One (since a lot of stuff is day two right now) around 1 at Esther Short Park. What do you guys think?

Sounds good to me. Day 2 is the only day I can't do anything Tsubasa-related, since that's when all the Sailor Moon stuff seems to be going down. I'll be wearing Mokona for all of Days 1 and 3, so any time then works.

I've seen tons of threads that bring up buying and selling items not on the correct board. Titus was only bringing it up because the items had to do with the topic and it was just in passing. It wasn't an advertisement or anything. And it's over so we don't need to keep talking about it or we will get in trouble.

I dont think they make them bigger but i think they will look alot better as that just got over $300 of those from that site well a friend did and thats what we did with the sakura cosplay i gave her

I had a friend who got shells that were big enough that made the same noise and painted them sewing them onto the cosplay and it actually looks pretty good I would try that but I don't know how skilled I am at the moment also take that chance kurgy kurgy kurgy!

No one's getting in trouble... trust me, it usually takes a lot more (i.e. a pattern of flagrant or willful/repeated misbehavior) before we get upset. But please do note that
- One post that mentions and links a swap meet thread is usually okay if it has to do with that anime. Usually. But more than that is usually not.
- Going off-topic or making posts that belong elsewhere does sometimes derail threads. But the biggest problem is usually "chat"-style responses. A bunch of short back-and-forth conversation posts, even if they're nominally on-topic, does much more to make a thread unreadable than a few off-topic posts would.
- We actively read all the threads, as much as possible. We appreciate it when people bring possible issues to our attention, because it lets us deal with them immediately (which helps to avoid anyone getting in trouble). But even when no one does, we're usually going to see stuff within a day or two regardless.

I've changed it so we're Day 1 at 2pm instead of 1pm. Is that okay with everyone? I don't want it to be too late plus a lot of other shoots are aiming for 1 so locations may vary. Tsubasa is my main cosplay and the only shoot I have that day so I really don't care when we have it, it's up to you guys. I just know Jacob was saying she was wanting it a bit later.
Any ideas where we should have the shoot?

There are a lot of really random places in the area that would be fun for the shoot. We'll just have to look around.

I went there for the tree weeks early meet there are some good places we can get some next to small fountain hopefully as well.

I am upset at you rember. There is a reson for why i am. not telling why. I will get your dress done when i get back from OK. witch will be in november. I havent have a creative muse to do anything with. and sketches are not comeing out right for so untill then you might just need to wait. i been to busy and this dress i am currantly making is one that was already premade by my friend. that i am finishing

Hey guys, I know this is a pain and everything but is there anyway we can switch this from 2pm to like 2:30 or 3pm? I really want to go to the dubbing panel and see Todd but I'd end up missing the shoot if I did. If not it's cool, I can see him other times during the con.
