Who do you think will win? Will White Team get three years in a row or will Black Team finally break them down? (I just realized this game is very racist :P)
What do you think the teams will be?
Or rather, what do you hope they will be or what do you think would be cool?
Good vs Evil?
Shounen vs Shoujo?
Strength vs Magic?
Major Ctr vs Minor Ctr?
The list goes on!!

I think the black team should kick some serious arse this year. Just to say they did. ;D If i'm on the white team...I dunno what I'm going to say because losing is not an option but...meh confusing times. xD Personally I think either Good vs Evil or Major vs Minor would be cool.

We didn't have enough Evil characters for Good vs. Evil... *cries* We were sooooo close at the end too!

Alright! WE CAN TRY! lol. I have one semi-evil character I might have finished by that point..... yup one.... I'll play more to truly find out more.. she's a protector and speaks sour to some.
or if I complete my evil shojo character.. O_O otherwards I'm good.. >_> Litchi, Meg (hercules),Seong Mina, Jam...... i have a neutral character.. Pocco.. she's a figurine.. lol........ >_> I'll work on it. lol

Sorry that you didn't quite get the game you wanted. I too hoped for the good/evil mix. Oh well, maybe with a call for that kind of game and a little more time for apps you could get that for next year.
Main thing is having a full board of enthusiastic cosplayers and creative chess masters which I think we have from the list I read.
I know I'll have fun as a bishop on the "boys" side, hey I even get to wear pants this year instead of the skirt, much easier to take a fall in.

What you can do for good vs evil, Jamiche, is put up a counter for each side.
Every time someone turns in their applications, bump up the number on the respective side.
Put this counter out to the public. Maybe on the first post of the sign ups thread?
This way, people are aware of how many more players are needed on each side to get the good vs evil match up.
This can be done with any pairing and there can be multiple counters.
This way, people can be more motivated if they see a certain number of good or evil.
And if you go over the needed number of pieces for one side, people will turn towards sending in the other side.
With people more aware of the numbers, they are more likely to go for the side with a lower number, if their costumes permit, so they can get the match up they desire.
Here's the drawback on this idea: You can only put one count per person to make the numbers make sense. From their cosplays, see which one you like the best, which group of cosplays under a category you like best, or which category has the most cosplays under it, and mark them on that side.
Example:
Jamiche sends in five different cosplays. Three are good and two are evil. Four are Shonen and one is Shoujo. Two angst and et cetera. Her best cosplay is evil, Anime, Shoujo. She would be placed under the count for only those categories. (One more for evil, one more for anime, one more for Shoujo)
Another drawback: Later on when everything is in, if you decide you want someone to cosplay someone other than you had originally chosen, you will have to keep it under the same category. If it's good vs evil and you marked them under evil and you only have just enough of them to play, you'll have to chose another evil character from their batch or swap them with someone you placed under good and change the good person to an evil cosplay.

Lol!, Well dear we can get Crossplay therapy sessions for you, that should help ;)
You can even do that at Kumori as I'm a panelist/host on 2 crossplay panels this weekend.
