Very sorry to say that this panel is no longer happening due to many personal reasons, as well as lack of organization and planning...But we still hope to gather at the Harry Potter Photoshoot and hang and have fun.
We are very, very sorry we couldn't pull this panel through.... We hope to re-create this panel in a future con..

There's a possibility, that KinkyFriedChicken and myself, will show up as movie-verse Neville and Luna.
If not, we could totally show up as Marauders!Severus Snape and Marauders!Lily Evans, since we have those done already.

God, I went to Hogwarts in Universal. One, it was amazing, but holy crap everything was expensive...
The ties were $30 plus tax DX I was unpleased...
Though I did get chosen to go through the wand picking ^^

I sorta feel the same way.I can't decide if I love their Draco or J.K.Rowling's Draco better.
And I love the idea of having jokes from it,if it was agreed upon by my other two friends that are running this with me.

I love them as separate things. That way I don't have to choose. And besides, AVPM kinda makes fun of the series, so I don't want to just love that.
Something like having Draco roll across the floor (depending the room), and asking what the heck is a Hufflepuff XD

It would be very fun if you cover something like "Totally Awesome" from A Very Potter Musical.
I will attend this panel, unless it is concurrent with one I am running, and I am very excited for it, thank you.
Of note: Be prepared, and ask for a big room. I & two pals ran the Doctor Who Fandom Celebration, and we were blessed with 145 people.

Sooo small update...
With one of our main events, we're hoping to do "Win a Date with the Wizards". Basically, it's just like the typical dating game except you actually get to win a date with the panelist (who will be in character at all times). We will choose three audience members, and go through just a few questions, and which ever contestant catches the panelist's eye will win~! We are saving money up for the date. It will be a dinner date.

I'm both Intrigued and nervous about that idea. I'm only nervous cus I don't want you guys getting snagged up by some creeps. Lol And I'd love to be chosen from the audience unfortunatly I'm a-sexual so i'll leave it for the others XD

You should follow the dating rules: under 18 w/ under 18, over 18 w/ over 18. That way you stay away from creepers better.

@Neko: Yeah that's what we figured. Hope the color coding of badges wont change, that way when picking audience members will be alittle bit easier.

Anywho, we really do want to do an 18+ Panel. I did send an email to registration asking about me participating in a 18+ Panel for KH if I had parental permission and/or guardian with me. If they do okay it (which I really hope they do cause I really am mad that my birthday runs seriously right after con... -__-) then MAYBE I can manage to fit in an 18+ Panel with the help of my 19 year old friend and/or sister.

@Tranny: I have a bad feeling about that too... I would think that if I were to do an 18+ Panel, I would involve this:
-A more mature version of "Showing the characters to the Fandom World". We are going to do that in our normal panel (just show some funny comics, cute pics, etc.). But this one I figured would be the much more hard core stuff you find.

Yeah. cus every one knows us con goers are secret perverts on the inside XD. I think the normal panel does just fine. I mean If People want to talk more about the naughtier side and stuff they can always meet up after the panel and go to the park to talk or something.

agreed. I had some friends who hosted panels, staffed, and it can be a pain the first time. So I definitely agree that just do the normal all age panel this year then next year if people want more see about the +18 panel. a silly thought came to mind. The person who chooses the audience members should dress as hedwig.

It's a good idea to just start with one panel. Either for your first time hosting panels, or trying out a new fandom.

UPDATE::
We are not going to do an 18+ Panel. It is to much work on us, plus I am going to be in 2 other panels and everyone else just feels like 1 is enough. X.x And if we were going to do a 18+ panel, it will be yaoi this and yaoi that. So maybe next year. =/
ALSO, we will be doing a mini-panel of this at Sakuracon possibly. A "preview", I guess.

And a note about doing an 18+, all the panelist have to be over 18 as well, and you said they weren't, so it wouldn't be possible anyways.
So, what are the ideas of games/events that may be happening?

Some of the events that we are most definitely doing are:
Q & A +Explanations. Which the audience ask us questions.
Characters Exposed to the Fanworld. Basically, we're going to show a slideshow of different fan made pictures (appropriate ones).
Improv Games. This one is still in the works.
CMV Show. We're making two CMV's currently so we'll show those two. No more than that.
Win a Date. Basically, winning a actual date with one of the characters (dating rules apply greatly)
Book VS Movie. Still in the Works. Maybe also a brief explanation on the Video Games.

Would I get in trouble If I brought the panelists some Fever fudge and possibly chocolate frogs? OwO They won't be in the actual packages because they'll be homemade but If I make some i'd like to share them with you guys. ^^;

@Tranny: We would have to wait til after the panel. We're going to form the Harry Potter Photoshoot hopefully after the panel, that way we can do meet and greets with people in the park. ^_^

AND... Sad news... Our Draco (Eli) may not be at the panel during the convention. He may be part of his school's Foreign Exchange Student program and he'll be in another country during the time Kumoricon is running. SO when it is confirmed, we will update this about if we want to find another Draco or not. Our meeting this morning about the panel was the discussion of Skyping him if he is gone.

Soo I'm going to be posting a new poll up here soon~ It's going to be deciding which improv games you want us to do during the panel. We have alot in mind, but we only have time for two so we want you to pick the two you want to see (and for Panelist, just chose two that you want to perform).
More updates to come. This panel is still not set in stone and wont be until we turn in a panel application and get accepted. Lets hope it does get accepted~

I know its probably not possible but I had a thought what if you could split up the audience chairs into four sections then put like a piece of paper or ribbon on the chairs telling you which chairs are for which house. Just thought it might be a cool idea ^^;

Holy cow I haven't updated this thing in a while.
Well we cant really do much until we turn in the panel form and wait to see if we get accepted.
All panelists are final. If something comes up, just tell us. We understand if you have other things to do.
Once I get my laptop back, I will start working on "Characters exposed to the fandom". Now this is actually going to be improv/scripted. The scripted part is the introduction to what this is. Basically, we are trying to make it look like a surprise Dumbledore left for Harry. It's going to just be a C.D in a envelope, with a note saying "When the time comes, look at it." or something like that. The C.D will have a whole bunch of fan made pictures and or videos we find on the internet and will be projected on a screen, and we see how the characters will react.
Improv games are still in the decision making.
The "Win a Date" has changed to "Win a Date with the cast" so that all of us panelists take one person out to dinner for safety reasons.

I've told you my ideas and we can talk more later but here are a few:
-Short one-shot fanfics (or bits of them)
-Different bands named after aspects of the movies/books (i.e. The Womping Willows)
-Cosplay of them (awesome and "fail")
-Fanart (No actual pairings but just art of the characters)
More when I can think straight.
@Neko: I like that idea as well,so the person that won didn't feel a little out of place by going with a group of people who are friends (I know that's how I would feel)

If we were to do fanfiction, wed only take a couple sentences out of it since we wont have much time. Plus it will be a powerpoint/slideshow thing.

Here are details on the games in the poll you can choose:
Song Titles: In the UK version, three or four performers act out a given scene speaking only in existing song titles. In the US version, two performers do the same, while the others wait off-stage, one behind each of them. If either performer speaks in a non-song-title, speaks a song lyric, or takes too long to respond, the host sounds the buzzer and they are replaced by the performer behind them. Similar to "Questions Only".
Whose Line: Two performers act out a given scene. They are each given several slips of paper with amusing lines written on them suggested in advance by the audience. Periodically, the performers pull a slip of paper out of their pocket and must include the line in the scene. The lines commonly contain some form of innuendo.
Party Quirks: One performer hosts a party which the other three arrive at. The three guests are assigned odd personalities or characters via envelopes. Whenever he is able, the host must identify what each guest is portraying. The guests enter one-at-a-time at the prompting of a doorbell sounded by the host. When their quirk is guessed correctly, a performer returns to his seat. Similar to "Let's Make A Date".
Multiple Personalities: A variation in which there are three props, and each is assigned a different famous identity. The performers must bear the identity associated with whatever prop(s) they are holding. Frequently, the props in question are given from one performer to another spontaneously, forcing the performer to do a new improvisation based on the prop he has just received.
Weird Newscasters: One performer is the lead anchor of a news broadcast who acts normally; the other three are the co-host, sports anchor (sometimes finance anchor on the British version), and weather anchor, and are each given an odd personality or character which they must exhibit. A running gag is for the lead anchor to introduce the other characters with humorous pun names, and to open the newscast with a joke news item.
Stand, Sit, Bend/Stand, Sit, Lie Down: Three performers enact a given scene; at any given time, one must be standing, one must be sitting and one must be either bending over or lying down, depending on the game. Whenever one changes position, the others must change to maintain this requirement. A stool or bed is typically provided to accommodate the scene.
Sound Effects: One performer enacts a given scene while a second, offstage, provides the sound effects vocally. While the onstage performer spoke in early UK performances, later scenes typically lack any dialogue other than occasional mumbled speech provided by the offstage performer. In early UK playings, Archie Hahn would provide sound effect for another performer. In later UK playings and all US playings, Ryan Stiles provided the effects for Colin Mochrie. Whenever a vehicle was used in a scene, a running gag involved Colin attempting to start the vehicle but failing, and when Colin is about to check its engine, Ryan forces the vehicle to start, forcing Colin to chase after the car.

- I am trying to plan a general meeting for panelists to meet up and discuss ideas, plan, and get things finalized. It will happen after the holidays, and hopefully be somewhere in Portland since the majority people live in the Portland area or nearby.
- Since the panel form hasn't been released yet, this panel is not final.

I have most of the cosplay on hand- button up shirt, black slacks, dress shoes, wand. I would just need a wig (my friend's wig is too short, and I don't know where I would buy one or if anyone has one I could borrow) and a blue tie.
And I would buy radish earrings XD
Let me know when that meet up is so I can request off from work (I work part-time so I usually go by a weeks notice).

We are sad to say that this panel will not be happening...
The group apart of this has broken apart due to personal conflicts, people not able to go to the convention itself, people moving, etc...
I feel really bad about this cause a lot of people were looking forward to it, but the lack organization and unable to plan it in general to get the panel ready was very stressing....We are all sorry for any trouble we have caused and we hope we can create this panel again in future cons....
