We should go somewhere special and cosplay for the world to see. I would say beach but the costumes would get ruined...
BUT! We've decided to go to sushi land! Yaay! And after we go to sushi land, if ya wanna stick around we'll go see a movie. : D SOOO we just need to find a date. Maybe a week or two before the con, eh? We still need to know that.
I just put that last part in by the way. XD

We could stop at a Japanese restaurant and have ramen, then go somewhere else afterwards. That'd be really fun, and not TOO pricey. But the question is where afterwards. :-\

Back! And I got the website address and the phone number. ;D It was really good, as I expected, and it seems to have plenty of room. About twenty seats on one side, facing the counter, and another ten on a different side. Then there's the booths, which are probably around five or six. I was paying lots of attention while I ate my 'Krab salad' sushi.

Hahaha, I got off unexpectedly, sorry. But yeah, it's really cheap and if we get to the movies before 5 it'll only be 5 dollars. :P we could walk to them if we had too but then it would still be $7 cause the mall is stupid. XD BUT! All the more fun for public!

Oh well... eating at sushi land and going to see a movie would be about $17... a little pricey but it would still be fun. If we get other means of transportation we can go to the theater on Mgloughlin. (Carpooling saves &&& 8D) Anyway, I'm hoping at least some of you guys come. >.<

I will be able to go if it's in the summer. I can't get away on a Thursday until June 13 (my last final then I get to come home ^_^). But it sounds like fun and I'm in!

It's gonna be like early august probably so don't worry. XP Then again I only said June cause that's when I thought my cosplay was gonna be done. However, a change of events has occurred and it is more probably gonna be done sometime mid-June at the latest. :] So we have some moving room.

:Gonk: Clackamas? Someday, I'll move to Portland, and all you nuts will move to Eugene and I'll still be out of everything. I'll see if I can get my dad to take me up, though. Maybe if I say it's to get together with a bunch of con friends, he'll let me. But if we're going on, like, a weekday or something... My mother would never drive me. D: She hates the idea of me cosplaying. Thinks it's for retarded freaks. And before someone tells me that 'retard' isn't a nice word, I'm not a very politically correct person so plz to be getting over it naow.
But as long as it isn't the first weekend of August, I may be able to make it. You know, we could always do this in, like... July or something so it isn't as close to con and my dad might be more likely to take me (otherwise he'll prolly tell me to just wait 'till con).

Probably not this far in advance, but heck. We'd probably end up taking the whole place over. We'd either be totally loved for all the money we'd be forking at them for sushi, or they'd hate us for being loud, obnoxious and generally otaku-ish.

As long as the gun doesn't cause problems. O.O <3 Kadaj and this all sounds very fun. ^_^ It's around $10 for me to eat there, at least... and then another 7 or the movies. So almost $20 each. A little pricey but I'd say it's worth it.

People with Militairy Discounts can get into certain movies (or just all movies, maybe?) cheaper. I think. It's like a Senior Discount, except you don't have to be +60 years old.

Well we'd be going to eat at either sushi land or nore Japan at the mall and I just thought it'd be funny to see people in costume watching a movie, but we can figure something else out that's fun if you want to. And I need to see that movie anyway so I personally would like to see the movie.

I'd definitely be down for going to see The Dark Knight again, and I agree, it would be really fun in cosplay (of course some costumes, mainly mine, would feel out of place no matter how you slice it, lol), but it still could be fun. The movie is ridiculously awesome and definitely warrants a second/third/ninetieth watching, lol.

Any day is good for me. The only days I'm busy are Friday evenings, Saturday mornings, and Sunday mornings. I can work with any other day, whatever is good for the lot of you.

I'd be fine with it, as far as I know. Depending on the theater, we'd preferably go in the late afternoon so that Kahlan could go (she gets off work around 3 or 4, I think, but if that doesn't work for some or most of you, then we can just manage with what is the best time. But either way, that day could work.

We want to try to go in Cosplay and we were set on Clackamas Town Center. I like going to the mall and there is a lot of stores around there that have good anime stuff. I just need to get confirmation from spleen on the date. Everyone else seems to be fine with it.

The first time he spoke as Batman in The Dark Knight my face went from -_- to 0_0.

And the girl next to me was giggling nervously and I just felt like I got her completely because I was like, "I KNOOOOW." (btw, -_- is my normal, complacent, comfortable face. Not bored.)
I know Batman talks all dark/spooky/badass/non-Bruce Wayne, but...did he sound like THAT in Batman Begins?
I think not. By the end of the movie I didn't mind though, and I wasn't sure if it got better as it went on or I just got used to it. I mentioned this to a co-worker and he said that Batman did indeed sound like that in the first one. I watched it again.
HE DID NOT. He had his Batman voice, sure, but it was NOT the same.
In retrospect, I kind of like it now. Because I got a lot of mileage with jokes centered around the concept what if Christian Bale wouldn't stop being Batman and doing the voice even after the cameras stopped rolling for the day. XD
Also, I kind of think it just makes Batman seem more insane. <3

This is at least two this week. There is one meet up tomorrow at noon at Clackamas Town Center. We are meeting at Red Mango and we are going to eat food then go see dark knight. Then there is one on the 10th where we are going to the hotel to look around then head over to Lloyd to ice skate and what not.
