Man, I am so glad I decided to come back to KumoriCon after a two-year layoff! Here are some of my best memories.
The Anime Family Feud. Even though my team got pwned, I still did my greatest!
The Sailor Moon panel was amazing. It sure enlightened me more about Sailor Moon, even though I still love that series after all these years.
The You Don't Know Jack panel. Sadly, I pulled a MASSIVE choke there. I was leading for most of the game until a question about some name in Blaster Master came about..... now I know what it's like to lose the Super Bowl. I'm still kicking myself for it.
OK, guys, now it's your turn to share your greatest moments this KumoriCon.

The little Tokyo Mew Mew girls! omg!!!! sooo cute! ^__^
-
Seeing the kid dressed as Liger Zero Jager and getting a ribbon for the Hall Cosplay contest.
Oh, and getting David Vincent's autograph of course :)
-
Ciel Phantomhive's Tea Party panel. So much fun!
-
Glomp circle.
Glomp circle, glomp circle, glomp circle.
Made me miss SO MUCH STUFF. But was SO GOOD.
-
The little Tokyo Mew Mew girls! omg!!!! sooo cute! ^__^
You took mine! They were adorable! I was so happy when they asked to take a picture with me. XD
Also,
The little Mega Man made my day.
-
Ciel Phantomhive's Tea Party panel. So much fun!
Thank you very much, from both the Ciel and Sebastian who led the panel. (Sebby's laying next to me right now xD)
-
The body painting workshop was probably the best panel i've ever been to.
I didn't catch you're name, host, but you had your **** together!
-
I was talking to a Nia cosplayer in the hall. For some reason, we were discussing Pocky. Then the topic of Men's Pocky came up. Suddenly, a wild TomtheFanboy appears out of nowhere and hands me an entire unopened box of Men's Pocky.
I was like o___________________________o amazing.

That would be Roget :D he's awesome.

That tall Karkat and GodTeir!John.
Also the Raves were fantastic! : D
-
The little Tokyo Mew Mew girls! omg!!!! sooo cute! ^__^
Hard competition of them going up against little mega man ;)
-
Seeing Gandalf the Gray in cosplay.
The very first panel of the Slightly Anime Dating game. It was the best out of all of them, including the 18+ version.
Who's Line is it Anyway with Todd Haberkorn. The Godzilla impersonation was absolutely priceless.
And as always, seeing everyone's cosplay was amazing. So glad I spent the time I did on my costume. It was epic hearing people look at me and scream, "SANGO!!!!"
Hahaha.
-
Glomp circle.
Blimp circle, glomp circle, glomp circle.
Made me miss SO MUCH STUFF. But was SO GOOD.
I loved the glomp circle! Stripper Hina loveā„
I hated how hot I kept getting, it was rediculous though.

That lil' Mega Man was a stone cold pimp. Absolute beast.
-
I loved the crossplay 101 panel, as always. :3 And the lady who ran the yaoi panel was so incredibly fun to be around. lol.
I have to say....my highlight was being attacked by the "peacock" cosplay group. XD
-
The family that dressed as Evee & it's evolutions.
Also the You don't know Jack panel was awesome!
-
I was really glad to be able to attend the day 2 rave... For all of ten minutes. Then I ran back and forth between my room and two panels hauling all of my resources to aid said panels. Specifically: My Little Brony and DnD pajama party.
Sure I missed out on a fantastic rave, but I managed to help entertain at least 30 con attendees who had hopes that their panels would pull through. Bronies forever. DnD backup guy as needed too I guess? Many laughs were had at both panels and people were happy. :)
-
My highlights were talking to all the amazing people at my table, finding out that ALL of my Thrift store collaboration paintings sold (My bridge zombie one went to auction. My reaction: OMG.), seeing faces I haven't seen in a year, and hanging out with Artist Alley folk over a pizza and a whiskey sour while dressed as Zombie from HINABN.
Also, I went to panels for the first time in about two years. My friend was SideSwipe and won at the Slightly Anime Dating game, and I will never look at Inspector Gadget the same way thanks to "Where Fanfic Goes to Die". WOW.
-
Hugs... So many Hugs... ~kupo
Oh, The Cosplay Chess was incredible, kupo~ I loved it and the Chestmasters and the "Entertainment" made it even better, ~kupo.
-
The entire con was amazing this year! Definitely my favorite out of the three years I've been attending!
For me, the best parts were getting complimented on my costume or getting my picture taken. Not a lot of people reconized my character, so it made me happy to know at least some people understood my crossover XD
The panels I went to were great, and waiting in line for them didn't suck either! I enjoyed time waiting in lines because I could always find someone new to talk to :D
-
Cosplay chess as Chess Master with Wheatley to my left. The end.
-
The family that dressed as Evee & it's evolutions.
Also the You don't know Jack panel was awesome!
I'm glad you liked that. I wish I coulda abstained from that last Q! :(
-
At the opening cerimonies blackstar screaming. "I WANT YOUR HAIR BABIES!"
-
Doctor Who Fandom panel was epic. The Katies & I expected maybe 40? Got over 100 more than that to our first year running it at KC (though I've run it at OryCon & MEW). The spot-on impersonations of everyone from various Doctors to Cassandra to Captain Jack Harkness literally had me LOL'ing so hard there were a couple times I even dropped to the floor. Then getting the whole room to sing along with my Time Lord Time Warp filk was super fun. And there was a mother-daughter team who came respectively as River Song, with every conceivable prop, all hand-made, and Pirate garb Amy Pond. OMG. & Folks signed up for our facebook group.
I love that FilkAeris & I resurrected Fanfic Bedtime Stories (FilkAeris noticed it wasn't on the schedule, & we advocated via the forums to be able to add it after deadline) & we got 46 people. Even limiting to 5-minute slots, we still had folks waiting to read at the end, & folks signing up for our mailing list.
Religion in Anime & Manga panel is always an intellectual highlight for me. This was our 6th or 7th year running it (for me & Guy), I think maybe 4th? for Jeni, & 2nd for Taco.
Filk it Up! was super fun. As was the fact that my favorite people from the forums, whom I had never met irl before last con, I suddenly was seeing everywhere...& sometimes in crossplay....Love it!
<<EDIT>> Washougal sure knows how to work (and accidentally almost fanservice) a crowd. His stand up comedy shtick was truly LOL funny & very well-received.

Cosplay chess as Chess Master with Wheatley to my left. The end.
were you the stein cosplay chess master?
-
Yes I was
-
Cosplay chess as Chess Master with Wheatley to my left. The end.
You, oh chessmaster, were wonderful.
Love,
White Mokona
-
I was dressed as Chrona. This girl came up to me and asked (with much enthusiasm) "Are you SURE you can handle this convention?" it caught me by surprise...
-
I now regret hardly getting to go to ANYTHING. GAH.
Walking around in the park was so not worth it, but Maid Squad'ing was, I suppose :3
-
For me, seeing all my friends again was the biggest highlight. I kind of dropped off the face of the forums/planet so seeing EVERYONE there was definitely nice. ^_^
Being able to go to work and the Con was a challenge but it all worked all. Missed some events (and all of day 3 ; ; ) but it worked out still.
Making it into the Slightly Anime Dating Game. That was a blast. (Tom Riddle here)

Inappropriate gif looping with Daft Punk at the How to Draw Yaoi/Yuri panels. I'm not an artist and just tagged along with some friends, but I still enjoyed the panels. Also, for anyone in the Yaoi panel who wanted to know the source of that "THE UNIVERSE!!" picture (if you were there, you know the one) an anon on 4chan finally responded with a title (Vibrator Company) and a link (which I will refrain from posting in a family friendly forum. If you want it, you know where to find it).
Getting to Karaoke HANAJI from Maria Holic super late at night was a really good time, as well as every other song I sang, but that one was my favorite. Second favorite was Nantokanare from Akagi. How do I love you, obscure anime openings, let me count the ways.

That was awesome! I think the best part of con for me was making new friends who also love Yaoi and the Yaoi panal with Todd Habercorn, I just about died! :D Also, believe it or not, working the reg line. I had so much fun working on the reg and seeing all the cosplays people had.
-
My top three highlights were:
a. The Greedling/Team Haberkorn dinner
b. Seeing Todd Haberkorn and Chris Cason again and meeting David Vincent for the first time (be sure to check youtube.com/user/paladincecil for some great guest clips)
c. Getting an Ouran t-shirt (I had been looking for one for the longest time)
-
a. The Greedling/Team Haberkorn dinner
That was great:D
-
I saw an insane DDR player while i was staffing, that made me look like a noob (and i have been doing it for 4 years) and helped convince him to help staff next year so we could do a DDR tournament next year.
I was cosplaying on and off as a minecrafter (i had a diamond gem, iron ingot, 2 gold blocks, and a wood block strapped to me, as well as the 3 diamond tools) and found a guy in a full (not just a head) creeper costume, unfortunately I saw him when i was out of cosplay and the next time i saw him he was in a different cosplay, :( . He also apparently walked down with someone to the garage to look for me, in the creeper costume, I felt so bad for him as that box is basically an oven lol.
-
Best part was cosplay chess being one of the chess pieces. My absolute favorite part all the weapons white monoka keep recieving and weilding so much fun. Where else can you say you saw white monoka weilding a gun.

The internet XD *shot*

Ciel Phantomhive's Tea Party panel. So much fun!
Thank you very much, from both the Ciel and Sebastian who led the panel. (Sebby's laying next to me right now xD)
Thank you very much! It was absolutely the highlight of the weekend for me.
-
a. The Greedling/Team Haberkorn dinner
The Day 0 one, correct? Ah yes, I can't believe I was able to tag along to that. It was an amazing experience, especially when some random guy blew me a kiss once I headed back to the hotel.
Oh, and from a nostalgic standpoint, the You Don't Know Jack panel was simply awesome. The hosts certainly did a good job in keeping with the spirit of the original games while still staying fresh (and I never thought I'd say that about a game show filled with penis questions). And of course, my last-minute win via Impossible Question was quite epic indeed.
-
Just so many fun panels. Any panel that Todd is in, it usually ends up pretty well. Guy's pretty funny!
Also, waiting in line was pretty fun a few times. Having a fun and comical back and forth conversation with one of the maids who had to hold a door open (but keep people from entering it) before the Cosplay contest was a lot of fun. She was pretty fun to chat with.
For me, the giant highlight was the Cosplay Contest...entertaining stuff!
It's funny, I saw many of the same people many many times, but yet when I look at the pictures of everyone I was thinking "Wow, I hadn't seen that person..or that person..or that one!"
-
I was kind of blown away that while I walked through the park in my Mario outfit somebody thought I was the best Mario at con. With my beard and no gloves and no big mustache!? It didn't make sense but I still appreciated it a lot.
-
My favorite part of the convention was definitely the cosplay chess. It was hilarious, awesome, and cute (largely thanks to the monokas). I tried my best to record the fights, whatever new cute thing the monokas were doing, and most of the ending once I realized my camera was lying to me about how much video I could take. I really hope that the footage from the actual event cameras with better quality and all the awesome back and forth between the chess masters gets uploaded eventually.
Another thing was deciding after at least a half hour of doing a lobby-second floor-convention center circuit to do just one more round before going back to my room for a break on Monday morning. I was looking for someone dressed as demyx to get my blackout and during that last pass I managed to catch what must have been the one for cosplay chess at the info desk. That made my day until cosplay chess blew it out of the water with its awesomeness. ;D
-
The Sailor Moon panel was amazing. It sure enlightened me more about Sailor Moon, even though I still love that series after all these years.
Oh my gosh, thank you! I'm really happy you enjoyed it, we had a fantastic time running it. I was the failtastic casual!Haruka who was presenting, and I had a blast, which was awesome because normally I hate public speaking. But the whole con atmosphere is so open and friendly that I wasn't scared at all. Getting to be on this panel was definitely a highlight for me, and I'm glad someone else enjoyed it as much as I did.
Other than that, the fact that on occasion Black Mokona and I couldn't walk three steps without pausing for photos was enormously flattering, and all of the panels I went to were thoroughly enjoyable. I'm already impatient for next year!

Another highlight for me was finding out that you were at the con, Negima :) You were a HUGE and happy surprise at the Slightly Anime Dating Game.

Waaaaa!!! Thank you guys!! <3 <3 (I was the one running the panels). Also, thank you for mentioning the title, just in case anyone couldn't get it (in case anyone is interested, the thread is still up, and you can still find it or PM me for the link to the comic).
Also in case anyone is interested, the funkytime music was Toro y Moi <3
-
My highlight was the Hetalia Yaoi Photoshoot on day 3 and the Dare or Dare game we started afterwards. The most fun I had all weekend :D
-
The number one highlight for me hands down was being able to run into and hang out with my friends (I'm so thankful to know so many wonderful people!! <3); especially my new friend, Raven. We got along swimmingly and I really enjoyed her company! ^^
Another highlight was oddly enough on Day 0, before the con officially started. I was in my casual Canada and got so much love out of it! (Hugs, shout-outs, pictures; the whole package!) I was kind of intimidated by all of the attention but secretely loved it, lol. I was a giddy Canada that day. >u<
Another would have to be the raves, which is unusual for me because I never really cared about them. Since I was with a certain England who was a rave fanatic, that helped me enjoy and appreciate them more. Thus, I had blast while dancing with her and some others who joined! ^^
-
Laying face down in the grass in the park and hearing a little voice going "Hi! Hi! Hi! Hi!" and then looking up to see a little three year old girl with her very amused looking mother walking past. I gave her a friendly wave and offered her a highfive with my huge Taokaka paws. It was adorable. Same goes for a little boy and his father who was in the Hilton, presumably for Oxfest. The little boy was terrified of us cosplayers at first, but I think with a big hug and a high five I managed to change my mind. He waved at me all the way out the door. X3
-
I also forgot that my boyfriend & I ran into Chris Cason waiting for the elevator on the way to con suite! Awesome!
-
My highlight was the whole con, BUT:
-Both Whose Lines. Todd Haberkorn crashed the all ages version. We filled the room both times. You guys rock!
-Roasting Zach Marsh.
-Having a con with no real drama.
-
There was one girl who recognized I was Dominic from Eureka 7 and practically jumped out of her shoes when she saw my cosplay. She asked for a picture, but when she was about to walk away, her friends asked if she wanted a picture with me. She gasped and asked if it was okay. It was my first con / cosplay, so I was really happy about it. Whoever you were - thanks! It made my day. ^.^
Todd Haberkorn's Godzilla impression was just amazing.
Oh! And this picture of Jesus and Billy Mays!

I was the Lelouch prize at the Slightly Anime Dating game. That was defiantly my highlight, it was just too funny. Then there was cosplay chess, and my sister went into the game for the last stand. It was adorable and hilarious.
-
I really hope that the footage from the actual event cameras with better quality and all the awesome back and forth between the chess masters gets uploaded eventually.
AGREED

Oh god. I am so sorry XD
-
My highlight was all the fan girls and photos that got taken of me and my friend as the twins ((sooo many photos *.*)) And my friend went as a red Scout from TF2, it was his first time cosplaying and he got lots of photos too :D
-
The Black Butler panel, the trollface, um.... the Ouran panel.... and uh.... those Repo! cosplayers I saw!
And the cowboy on the fish. That was amazing.
-
During my first Slightly Anime Panel ever. I had the courage to go up (Lust) and won. ..
-
The Black Butler panel, the trollface, um.... the Ouran panel.... and uh.... those Repo! cosplayers I saw!
And the cowboy on the fish. That was amazing.
Rotti's Twin Guards made me nerd out a bit inside. I walked up to them and asked "Where's your shotguns?" and they were shocked there were people who knew what movie they were from. Great costumes too.
-

Of course you won! Your toilet paper costume was truly inspiring. =D
-
While I was Marshall Lee I got confused for Edward cullen 3 times.....and then once agian as the 1oth Doctor......that last just completly throught me off, I mean seriously
-
My highlights:
-Being picked as a prize for The Slightly Anime Dating Game (Songstress Rikku)! Totally didn't expect that! Plus, I got Billie Mays frikkin' RIKER! *waves at Lelouch, Lust, and other participants posting here*
-Debuting my new Toph cosplay from Avatar, to a great reception. Never have I gotten so many hugs before!
-Still in Toph, at the park, waiting for my ride after con was over, I heard an adorable little boy pointing me out to his father. So I waved. A minute later, he comes over and asks if I'm really dressed from Avatar, I answer yes and we talk about how cool a show it is. Two minutes later, his father comes back up and asks if his son can have a picture with me. So we do an Earthbending pose together! CUTEST THING EVAR.
-The whole Cosplay Contest. Definitely the best one I've ever been to! Great costumes, hilarious skits, the random chair rave, funny filk song I keep getting stuck in my head... T'was epic.
-Winning a prize at the Sailor Moon panel for knowing the most inane SM trivia, and getting to meet up with my fellow Moonies again!
-All the tiny cosplayers! Tiny Sora! Tiny Maka! Tiny Megaman! I was squeeing every time I saw them.
-
Another one of my highlights was when my group was waiting for closing ceremonies. We had a Namine waiting with us and we started swing dancing, but only doing the fancy steps 'cause neither of us knew the real steps. :D Was the best spontanous dancing ever :)
-
My biggest highlight was definitely my costume. Everyone was so surprised to see a Lakitu, and I could hardly walk three steps without being stopped for a photo. People were excited to see the costume, ecstatic to see it came complete with Spinies, and they just about died when I revealed my "Final Lap" and wrong-way sign. It was great... I also caught Fanboy totally off-guard with my routine; it made my day ^_^
I also loved the Who's Line panels - Todd was great - and Todd reading yaoi was hilarious!
Random chair rave during the Cosplay Contest and before Closing Ceremonies, winning Tsubasa OVAs by guessing a random city in Texas, the Muppets guys during the dating game... It was all good :)
-
My Highlights....
-The oh so many AkuRoku fangirls squeeling and taking pictures of us when ever my boyfriend and I kissed. (Sad is I haven't seen a single picture of us yet.)
-Proposing to my Sora on Day 3.
-Getting kissed on the cheek by both Ouran Twins.
-Todd's amazing improv in the Whose Line Panel.
-The Kingdom Hearts Panel (I was the Axel and I must say it was alot of fun.)
-(Note: I was Riku Deep Dive Ver) Day 3, getting guided around the hotel by a Namine with my blindfold on (and I can't see), carrying a "Riku Needs a Hug" sign, and get hugged many many times not knowing what those people look like.
-
I had an Ouran twin give me a rose, which was pretty boss. :D
-
Blade Works WINNER Coordinator's Choice
As a US Navy veteran, it was touching to see him recognized for serving our country so we can have the freedom to watch crazy AMVs.
-
I enjoyed the raves and the family of eevee's. They were adorable :3

^ I didn't realize that there were that many RE cosplayers this year...
