Title: Halloween Cosplay Party! {CANCELLED}

I wanted to do this for sometime now and just now got the courage
would anyone like to come to a halloween cosplay party at my apartment complex

It would be in the rec room and we can have games and teeth rotting goodies
we can watch any scary movies and/or horror anime ..that I might get from block buster X3

give me your suggestions on what you would like I'm all ears
and for people under 18 I would like confirmation notes from parent/gaurdian I don't want you getting in trouble
and if you want I can take those who want to trick or treating but thats if you want

we'll also might have a scavenger hunt and a few contests.

Time: 4:30-10:15 (if time is a problem let me know)

why: cuz halloween is the time for tricks, treats, and scares

I'm not sure about locations, but I bet there are a lot of bigger places that have yearly halloween parties. Of coarse if you just want a small gathering of kcon friends that's cool too. If you consider having a party before going to one of the bigger and later (for those that are old enough) parties it would be fun to go as a group. Halloween is on a saturday so parties are going to be going till the wee hours in the morning everywhere. An anime horror or the likes would be fun to watch. Maybe we could carve some scary pumpkin faces and put them out with a candle ^.^ (pumpkin pie?)

I may be able to go. Depends on when the drama department party is, but it's usually always after school and during the week anyway. Also depends on if I can get a ride home or not, given the time (damn having my eighteenth birthday in January! >.<)

My Apartment isn't very big but the rec room is big enough to house up to 20-28 ppl I believe and then there is the court area...which is big :3

and I could get wee lil pumkins for real cheap so we could carve chibi lanterns

and I'll see about pumpkin pie..with cream of course X3

@Mizu: if your unable to get a ride I could probably con my uncle to drop you off afterwards :3

I just miss my friends from around here. Every weekend I'm either up there, or sitting around wishing I was up there, talking to people who are. I think a party might make them feel more loved, so that's what I'll do.

no, they are like little jell-o cups, but they aren't really gelatin.
they are smaller than standard sized jell-o cups, and they have little coconut chunks and such in them. they are great!

Most likely used, but if you check it out before you buy, play a game or make sure it looks non busted up, you can get cheap new systems and games. Computer player myself so I haven't had a system sense ps2 which is at a friends house unplayed for probably 2 years or more.

They only like a few people but are still crazy stupid with cars, IDK how many times I've seen them run IN FRONT of a car from the side of the road when it got close....

Raises the next question, I offered to bring RB2, my PS3, and my comp speakers (5.1 surround using 3.5mm to a sound card)
So, do I need to bring all this? Should I bring my comp tower too? If I do that, will someone have a monitor to hook it up to? (It's DVI output only, but I THINK I have a vga-dvi cord for other older monitors, and I have the stuff for dvi-dvi). So yeah, let me know what I need to bring, and I shall bring it.

i have a pair of computer speakers, but they sound lame alone.
does your tower, or your sound system have a 3.5mm input?
i could totally borrow dakota's aux. cable.

It's meant for use on a comp with a good sound card XD

Edit: Okay found all my splits, I can get all 3 inputs into a single one that will work for all the speakers.

ok, so i can definitely work with that.

but what i was if they had a 3.5 female, because i have a male2male cable.

but if you got it to work as one male, that should work fine.

Only thing I don't like about this system is that the speaker wires to the sub are kinda short IMO

i think it depends on what we want to do here.
because if we are trying to make it dancey, rock band can be off of the tv.
if its going to be a "mini-con type thing" rock band should be on the sound system.

i have to talk to my sister to find out if we are good, but im pretty sure we are in.
we just need a few adults to be considered "chaperons" and we need there names and phone numbers.

the place is a church, but i made sure nobody would be there.
they told me that i need a few people to supervise, and make sure nothing gets f-ed up.

its a cool church too. its really big, and it has a dancefloor.
