I am the new leader, and I am in charge of making sure everybody knows what is going on.
I believe we should have a regularly scheduled time where we all get online and talk, instead of having meet-ups which are more complicated since we don't all live that close to each other. We will have occasional meet-ups - at least I hope to, for recording videos, recording audio for skits, and just fun stuff like getting the whole group together to, like oslapedo said, marathon whatever it is we decide to cosplay - but I'm talking about a regular time where we discuss everything going on with the group, like weekly. Not daily because daily is a bit much (although it'd be nice I don't think it's possible plus we'd run out of stuff to discuss rather quickly).

The gold around the edging should be increadibly easy.. just use the piped fabric as a edge covering and fold it around the outside and inside hem, pin and sew.

I didn't watch the entire youtube tutorial. Is this approach any different? Just ignore the drawing in eyebrows part if you simply want to cover them up.
I've never had to cover up my eyebrows, but I have had to make them different colors. For all of you who need different colored brows I've found mascara works surprisingly well. Once it dries it doesn't smudge, but it's also very easy to wash off :3
Liquid eyeliner might also work but I've never tried it. They come in more colors though. Like hell I'm going to dye them some odd color just for a couple of days Dx

It's with my friend. It's her aunt's diner style restaurant called the Snack Shack. Her aunt has some tumors and isn't really capable of working there like she used to, so she was in need of somebody to help. - I have to leave by 6:00 (3-4 hour drive back home, my bro has school the next day) so starting the photoshoot after closing ceremonies doesn't leave me with much time, but if we start earlier there's time.

I also managed to get our perverted comments back in and more Chiyo and her awkward sign. She never talks much because people keep cutting her off... XD I kinda find it amusing...

Hey guys, I'm back. Sorry I'm later than expected; I was busy with family travels and still had no internet access. I'm home now - in my new one. I read back on all that I missed in the thread. It seems that the skit hasn't worked out. I think we should cut it from our plans to do it in the cosplay contest. Maybe we can do it in the panel. Either way, it's distracting us now from other things such as the mentioned panel, and the photoshoot.*glomps* I'VE MISSED YOU SO MUCH!!!!
All that has happened is really sad, but a great learning experience. If we can all stick through it, things should turn out great.
I still have stuff to catch up on such as making my page on the site and figuring out how to get my dress. I had hoped Dana would make it for me, but things didn't work out. I won't be able to get anything from ebay in time, so I think I'll have to buckle down and finally make a costume myself. Even with no skill, research and determination should get me through it, right? I have my wig though (which looks amazing btw).
My schedule is still a little wonky because I've stuff to do in terms of moving in to my new place (unpacking, getting ready for school, etc.) but you know I always do my best to work with you all.
Relax a little bit, remember that this is all for FUN, and have faith that the convention is going to begreatawesome. :)

Okay, I'm not gonna say alot about the skit, because I want you guys to be suprised when the rough draft is done, but the main three people battling for love are Tadase and Ikuto for Amu, then Utau kinda whines about loving Ikuto a bit. Rima and Nagehiko come in a bit for comical stuff, then Ikuto and Tadase have a pokemon battle, using Chara's and a few Gaurdians as Pokemon. I'm having a bit of a problem though, because we have doubles.I think it would be funny if something happened that ended up having doubles. xD
Two utau's and a few Amu's is making it hard to have everyone on stage for the poke-battle. =/
Is there any way we can even that out more so it's one person per character, or is tht impossible?
And our costumes are not set in stone. It's even possible that people might quit at the last minute.

Had a short discussion on when a irl meet could take place. Spectatively speaking, either the 21st of this month or the 19th of December will work. However, the 21st of this month doesn't look that good whie 19th is far out enough that its a wild card for some people.

We should have an irl meeting to figure out dance logistics because we're way more than three people and have to change it up some. Who's going to be placed where and who's doing what part? Who's going to dance at what event - we'll probably need to set different formations. Are we going to set people by character? Lots of stuff to figure out.

While chatting with Krock, it seems I'll be crossplaying Utau's interdimensional twin in the form of Fate Testarossa who has the same JPN voice actress, similar hairstyle, and they're both magical girls.
