woohoo goin to walmart probably today to get my camera, and finish off my cosplay stuff. just waiting for my wigs, down to 155lbs, used to be 165, mainly made out of muscle, but i'm gonna be a badass ash! i was thinking of still doin goldeen.

Leafeon is close to my heart because growing up with the original 151 I aaaaalways wanted a grass eeveelution - a decade later out popped Leafeon! Not quite what I imagined but still awesome none the less, haha.

I always was really irritated by the lack of grass/Eevee love!! Updated with some pics on the progress thread, I'm hoping pretty soon I can start working on the ears and tail. =]

Ground type: I don't remember what it was called.

Though, did anyone else think having an ice eeveelution was a tad redundant? I mean, Vaporeon CAN learn a lot of ice attacks. o_O Not that Glaceon isn't cool or anythin', m'just sayin'. >>;

Not really they serve different roles in combat and an Ice STAB is always good.

I would get into it more but I don't feel like showing my tournament side right now.

So random comment...I still want to buckle down and make the Hayley costume, but just out of curiosity...

...what exactly would it take to get a partial wig over a bald wig like Commander Charon?

And more on topic for Hayley--I figured out how to do the sunglasses over my regular ones (they're perscription), but only partially. I was thinking of using an orange crinkly see-through plastic, but how do I attach it to my lenses? And if I was to, someday, cosplay Charon (yeah I know but he's the only Galactic I could get away with dressing as), how could I use the same method to get the tiny lens effect, since he's got those little tiny glasses?

Wow. The base dress I origonally bought for my charizard is too big now....I didnt expect to lose so much weight after being pregnant.... o.0 I had to alter it and not its a bit revealing. Im still happy with how its turning out and my wig kicks major butt. I finished the horns today and need to pick up material for the plushy tail and wings tomorrow. Yay!

I'm remaking it from scratch. No dye. I'm going in pattern-less, with help from my mom (thank god for her). I hope it ends up ok, it'll be worth all of the time I spend on it if it is!

so I was working on my jigglypuff hat right. Everyone's like what are you doing and I'm like making a hat, so I show it too them. Their all excited and freaking out like "oh my god! your making a costume?!" and "those ears are so freaking cute!" i was so happy about it. XD

That sounds really cool. I have a friend who absolutly loves that I'm making Corsola. When she saw my Coral she was all "AHHH! Katie it's so cute! I can't wait to see it!" I felt loved. But now I'm feeling the pressure. I think I can make it in time.
