I'd Just as Soon Kiss a Wookiee!

Hi there!

Myself and Ayumu are running "I'd Just as Soon Kiss a Wookiee: A Star Wars Panel" at Kumoricon this year!

We had a pretty successful first run at this past Sakuracon with "Anakin, You're Breaking My Heart: A Star Wars Panel" and we hope to do even better this time around!

So what we need your help with is coming up with Star Wars related MAD LIBS!!

FOR EXAMPLE:
"Han Solo (verb) into the cantina, (adverb) eying Jabba the Hutt"

and on as long as you'd like to make it! Now, theses were wildly fun and extremely hilarious, but we were SO ill prepared for them that we didn't have any written before we got there. So! We'd like to not fail this time.

Now, although this is an 18+ panel (I think so, anyway), I would like the mad libs to stay clean! It's fun because they aren't dirty until someone decides that the verb they want to use is "licking" or the best adjective to describe Darth Vader's attitude for Boba Fett is "lustful."

Han doesn't have a vest the whole time he's at Jabba's palace because he was frozen in carbonite without a vest ^^;;

Of course it's a scene from RotJ. It's the Jabba's Palace scene and they have Leia as Boushe. They didn't release a Leia in the slave girl outfit until very recently with an R2-D2.

They'd both have plain boiled noodles with salt, they'd just have different names.
Both names would be wonderful sounding and list ingredients they don't have.


I think that we should have a Star Wars Pants Off. You basically go around in a circle and says Star Wars Quotes but replace key words with pants. If you can't think of a quote or you replace the wrong word you are out.

Examples "The Empire has taken control of my pants!", "I sense a great disturbance in the pants.", and of course "I find your lack of pants disturbing."

I've seen MANY icons like that around the internets for years and they are so funny! I think this is a great idea! ....because I know a lot of quotes.

That was probably completely inaccurate, my vision of that scene always tends to cut away to a parody flash video which was even more ridiculous than the original.

I would find it highly entertaining to see some redub the 'foul stench' line as "I recognized your foul pants when I was brought on board."

Of course, somebody would have to shop some horrendous paisley/plaid pattern over Gov. Tarkin's actual pants.

Peter Cushing actually wore slippers in many of his scenes because the shiny black boots for his costume were a size too small and hurt his feet. Tarkin was so powerful that he scoffed at Imperial dress code.

Easily one of my fave scenes of all time!! At least in the world of cons and maybe beyond!
GO TEAM RABID WOOKIE! Opening to trivia questions from the floor was (obviously) my favorite part

My teammate made me a bantha in our teddybear felting workshop! Ultimate!!

Hehehehehe, I had bought a book called The Dharma of Star Wars to cite in our Religion workshop, so be prepared for some Buddhist-tinged quotation trivia next year!!

Oh and btw, where's the pic of our winning team and our booty? (By which I mean our watermelons, decorated with, well, what Chewy would look like if he were a squid? LOL)

FYI, the Best Crossover winner in our Fanfic contest was of Metroid games and Star Wars. I think next year's panel it would be fun to challenge folks to perform mini cosplay skits of parody crossovers of Star Wars and other sci fi, fantasy, or anime!
