Hotel policy on masks?
« on: July 10, 2007, 08:04:10 am »
Do we know yet if the hotel will be allowing full-face masks, or masks at all? I had a conflict last year with my costume about the mask, so what about this year? Are they allowed?

I'm not entirely clear but I believe masks may be worn in the various rooms, just not in the public space (ie hallways, exhibitors' hall, outside). So make sure you can remove your mask easily.

Please post any questions of policy in the proper forum. I usually ignore Cosplay Chat but I jump on anything I see posted in Help, Suggestions, and Complaints.

From what I've gathered listening in on yojimbo and executives the Mask thing was 90% that last hotel. What a bunch of spazzes.

I know that a mask is potentially dangerous and some look "threatening" to mundanes but anime cons NEED to be able to support a good Mascot population.

Chio Chan's dad is yellow, not orange, and he's not really a cat!
