So it has been a while since I have gone to a cosplay meet-up. Right now the plan is Monday (Memorial Day) May 31st @noon.

For those of you planning on going I am interested in knowing what costume you guys are going to wear.

~~So the International Rose Test Garden Monday May 31st @noon~~ Since it looks like it is going to rain we are meetin at Lloyd mall by Clairs on the third floor at noon. If it is nice we can go outside to the park.

I plan on going as Lilith ^_^

I may come, it all depends on bus money. I'd most likely do Yuuki Cross, Or some version of Soubi, or Namine.

There again, rock on. Though every time I hear Rose Garden I keep thinking...Blazer game?
I'll be in the Portland area anyway, so I might be able to come, especially since the buses aren't so mean to me on weekdays. If I'm in suit n' tie, I'll probably be coming as Turk Trunks (DBZ/FF7), or World Conference America (Hetalia).

And i'll be going to said Ouran host bday party the next day o_o my mom wouldent be up to driving me to the rose garden two days. It costs too much money to drive up there.

I'm already doing something later in June. This next weekend is the best time for me and a bunch of my friends so.....Sorry you can't make it. This isn't really going to be a big thing. I just want to take some pictures. It would be about two to three hours long

I'm probably gonna be a last minute decision...One, I have school, so I'd be coming a little later, and then I'm also going to the Ouran thing the next day....

Since a lot of people can't make it I am going to postpone this till May 31. It is a Monday but it is memorial day so there is no school.

We can give it a shot but I don't think they would really appreciate people in costumes going in there. I'm not even sure if they would allow it at all. But I would love to go in there

I think they would allow it. You pay to get in, it isn't a lot different than the zoo or a movie theater. What is important isn't what you look like, but how you act.

Don't throw rocks in the koi pond.
Don't climb the Japanese Maple.
Don't write your name in the sand garden.
Don't ring the temple bell 100 times.

You get the idea. Use some common (or not so common anymore) sense and you should be fine.

Sounds good to me. I am more than willing to give it a shot. Yeah I checked out the site and I didn't see anything regarding costumes but there was no portrait photography allowed.

The only thing that would cost is the transpotation to get there via MAX/bus. And the Japanese Garden, that a few of us might be going to later that day does cost, but the Rose Garden does not.

I kinda wanna be Kaito for this now....I really need to get good pictures for him...

Pooh, I wish I had a Vocaloid cosplay now. XP Course, that would kinda be like jumping on the bandwagon... but I think Black Rock Shooter of Eager Love Revenge Miku would be awesome, either one. ^^

You should totally plan to do one in the future ^^
Depending what wigs you have/what your hair is like, you could probably put together a casual version of a character by this, if you really want to do Vocaloid.

I could be casual Meiko if I chop my hair off (been thinking about doing this anyway) and blow some cash at a thrift store one some red clothing and possibly locate some stereo headphones (not bound to be cheap). Or... I could just stick with Reno, since I already have all that and I'm not sure if I have that day off anyway...? I dunno, so much uncertainty.

besides parts of the zoo, there's really nothing covered/indoor. Unless you'd want to head to Pioneer mall.

It doesn't have to be around there. It can be somewhere completely different. I was thinking Lloyd if it is raining. That way there is a park close by just in case it stops.

I would say Lloyd's a good idea, that way no one will get cold if it's chilly out.
