Hey guys.

We are about ready for another meetup methinks, so here we go.

Here is the meetup information

Feb. 6th 2010 - 12:00pm
Anime Asylum (pending)

I talked to them a while back, and they said that if i am going to have another cosplay meetup, i am welcome to have it there, but i have to talk to them about it first. So it seems like a pretty cool idea eh?

Bring food/money for food because we will be out there a while. Bring camera's, for photoshoots, and bring your DS systems, with pokemon d/p/pt and/or hg/ss. If there are enough people with DS's, we can have a tournament.

Anyway, lets make this a fun one shall we?

Maybe I can get a group to go, not sure. :/ but there's enough time, so we'll see.

i will probably be bringing a few friends of my own, not to mention as many people from the pokemon cosplay thread as possible xD

I'll bring my DS and maybe one TCG deck, but other than that I'll be bringing my best weapon of all, myself and my pokeball, not to mention my attack effects.

Lol, umm I got a DS but no pokemon games ^^; BUT I do have the ooooold school pokemon master board game, hahahah XD

But other than that, I MIGHT bring some good treats of chocolate cakeballs if I can make it ^^ and hopefully my roommate will be joining too

I will be bringng a friend with me, she wants to be a vulpix.
My DS isn't working, being totally uncool. lol

But I have games,
I can see if my little sister will let me bring it.

My roommate is gonna do her Eevee again from last year when I convinced her to dress up as a gijinka ;p But dude, lame sauce on the news of your DS D: ...Mmmm now that I think about it, I don't think I HAVE my DS >_< hahah lil' bro probably has it atm.

Man, if I didn't have two jobs and actually have some free time I would so hit up a lot of the pokemon games TT - TT...someday I'll be able to play xD

So are we dressing up for this meet up? Cuz the one i'm working on is still in process and I don't think I'll be done XD but I can bring my Umbreon along and my friend can bring her Eevee and change into it?

Im glad to see a bit more interest this time around.

I talked to the guys at anime asylum again, and they said that they may be moving at the end of the month, so we will see. If they can stick around, they will be happy to host it.

If your costume isn't done, than you don't have to wear it, or you can wear what you have done. Also, if you have another gijinka, you are welcome to wear that as well, or even cosplay as something completely different. Its not really up to me what you wear.

Also, does anyone have any ideas for other things we can do? If we are at anime asylum, we will have anime playing the whole time we are there, so that won't be an issue. We will be able to do a DS tourney, and if enough people bring decks, we will do an extended TCG tourney. We will also be able to do a photoshoot, and if anyone has TWISTER, i would love to play pokemon TWISTER. TWISTER= THE BEST BOARD GAME EVAR (or should i say bored game xD)

So, turns out I have a prom I'm going to, not totally sure when I have to leave (since it's in Silverton)...I might come to this and then leave early like last time.

@ xthulhux - Alrighty, sounds good to me on the whole cosplay thing ^^ I'll bring my cosplay to the side change into or so. But anyways just curious, I just jumped into the whole Pokemon cosplay forum on here not to long ago but I missed the first hang out. So how did that go and how many peeps showed up last time? And having it at the anime asylum sounds pretty cool so far ((been there only once when I went shopping up in P-Town)) So when will you know for sure that we'll have that location?

@ Michiyo - Haha dude girl, if you do have your Gary cosplay done and ready, I'll have ((if I can make it and/or have the day off from work)) I'll bust out my Umbreon

The last meet was okay. It was also the very first one after Kcon...Not many showed, but those who did had fun. I had to leave early, so I don't know how the photoshoot went...
Also, it was kinda hard, cuz mostly everyone was freezing from the cold...

Note to self: wear pants.....

This should be good, since we'll be able to be inside most of the time, and a good photoshoot place is right outside!

And J.T. I'm not wearing a dress...I'm manly when it comes to formal wear....>>

@Lily & Eternal;; I know. Dx I hate it, if it is BROKEN one thing you can do is blame it on my ex freshy, Zach. I think. But I can bring my games for anyone who just wants to play but dont have them

Also, Vulpix(Alyce) going to maybe spend the night this weekend so maybe she and I can go shopping for a yellow tank top, but I need help with my wig. Need to find a good one, and see if my friend will commision it. Im home sick right now, so it really sucks. But I might just wear my little gothy pink and black tripp skirt and maybe a black or white top with it

DUDE.
i have totally always thought of dark types as the mob.

Look at Carvahna, Cacturne, Shiftry, Houndoom, Crawdaunt etc. They all look like mobster pokemon.
