Finally got some of the massive piles of Kcon stuff at my house organized.

New additions for the Manga Library. Contains manga in English, manhwa in English and recent magazines in Japanese. And yes, that is the Clover omnibus edition on top of that one bag

Charity Auction lots! I've photographed each individual lot, and will have those up soon. That way, people can see what awesome stuff we have.

These contain the prize support that will go to the Prog Office.

More to follow. If any other staffers want to share some info, stories or photos from the back end of the con, feel free to join in the thread

Don't worry. The 11,200 swag bags that I had printed will arrive at your house in a few days. Water bottles, umbrellas, messenger bags, and stickers will follow thereafter.

Yeep! Good thing that I got all the current stuff organized and sorted. BTW - I am just going to steal the stuff I need for GoH swag bags and badge holder #1 right out of the boxes. Merch can have what's left after I've ransacked it

Sure. Just have her email me what they are getting for merch. I will put aside 30 of each swag item to make sure they get them before they run out.

Staff and Attendee shirts are in! They are gorgeous. I am buying 2 of the attendee, since I never have enough kcon shirts to wear at events and the like. Also, I love them.

Swag bags are here. Also, got a big box from Sock Dreams the other day

No, but big discounts kicked in when ordering at a quantity of 10000. (The 11k was the result of a 20% overage/underage.) The leftovers can be perfectly reused in future years.

Vice Chair is in my basement, making VIP pins. My AA badges have been printed, along with most of my industry ones.

Oh, oh and I picked up this today:

And sorry, despite the offers I've already had on it, it's not a merch item. It's a locally handmade custom messenger bag that is part of this year's Badge Holder #1 lot for 2010.

Today I was part of a long meeting with the hotel. Helped tear-down. Bailed on tear-down briefly for food. Met up with staffers at the locker who were partway through re-organizing them and building them new shelves. We moved all the stuff in. And then I drove around to take the last of the staffers home, and drive the truck drivers home.

At 12:36 when I reached my front door, the wrapping up of Kcon09 was over.

I really should be alseep right now ... but I am waaay too awake for some reason.

LOL yes 4 hours of bag stuffing at 2am is a lot of blue bags. I like when Beau told us to just finish the last(full) stack on the table and then we were free, except a stack is what 250-500 bags?

I stuffed for 4 and half hours..... also did a running them up and down the to the B to PL and empty boxes back down... I will say it was fun though to meet all the staff and get to know u all!

The Backstage Ninja was fun too! I can do it again next year!

I agree! I never even peaked inside mine after stuffing a bajillion of those bags on Friday night with Becky and Dylan!

In fairness, when that middle table had most of the staff doing the stuffing (Round 1, from like 4pm till dinner) they were using a stationary assembly line that must have been faster, but I wonder if it was more monotonous and Repetitive Stress Injury inducing.

The table closest to the dealer's room rolling door is where I was; I had more fun doing the looping bagging (switching left and right either every so often or every other run).

Thats what we did at first and I liked that but we all decided we wanted it done NOW so we turned into the assembly line. When we took our 15 minute break after doing 100 bags we were a bit disorganized then I had to find some friends so I could pay for their pass into K-con, then when I came back two people were gone and Zachery was also gone leaving just me, I stuffed some bags for like 30 minutes before realizing I had to go home.

Yes, as I stated, I believe the assembly line is faster; when you have enough people.

We need to make sure that later part gets fixed next year.
