Welcome back for another year of Kumoricon! In 2010 we plan to bring you plenty of new guests, amazing mini-events, contests, and good old-fashioned fun! Heading back to the heart of downtown Portland, we will once again be taking over the Hilton Portland and Executive Tower hotel. Kumoricon has served as the center of the anime fandom in Oregon since 2003 and we will once again strive to make this year bigger and better than ever. Hope to see you there! |

Video Gaming Has Moved! – Posted Sep. 2, 2010Due to an unexpected change in events, console and computer gaming will now be held below the Dealers Hall in the sub-basement level of the Main Tower! For the average attendee this means that you no longer have to walk over to the Executive Tower during the convention! There will no longer be any programming occurring at the Executive Tower. What this also means is that you will need to know, before you arrive at the convention, how to get down into the Valet Level (sub-basement) event space. Important Registration and Check-In Tips – Posted Sep. 1, 2010With the convention just a couple of days away, we’d like to remind you of some important check-in information including what you need to bring, and provide some tips on when and where to line up to register or check in. Update: Friday night line information. Announcing Slightly Anime – Posted Sep. 1, 2010We would like to welcome cosplay performers Slightly Anime as guests of honor at Kumoricon 2010. Slightly Anime has run major cosplay competitions, hosted panels about cosplay and life at conventions, and most notably, put together the “Slightly Anime Dating Game” for 7 years now.
